Love everything about this shoot! Most especially, the owls! Entitled 'The Hills Have Eyes', it's featured in the latest edition of Twin Magazine. Our very own, home-grown Celestine Cooney styled the shoot, alongside wizard behind the lens, Ben Toms. Together, along with the rest of the team, they have created these very beautiful images. Model, Sara Blomquist wears Rodarte's SS/11 California Redwood inspired collection with perfect pose.

Natalie B Coleman...
In the words of Jim Morrison "The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are". Irish designer Natalie B Coleman is inspired by the stories, the secrets and the longings for individuality in all women. Her S/S 11 collection is entitled 'Damaged Goods'. The choice of aesthetics lend a gracefulness to the collection, paired with her drawings, which have an open book-like quality. Some of the drawing titles are: Scream, I took it like medicine, I cut it off to spite you. Some sheer pieces are also offered up; with I'm guessing transparency in mind.

Parisian Chic...
I have been rather taken with label Sandro, which is in its' third season at Brown Thomas. As it happens, the label is French! No surprise there, I do tend to be drawn to things of a Parisian chic nature. The label was launched in 1984 by husband and wife duo Didier and Evelyn Chetrite. Infused with inimitable Gallic cool, their left bank inspired designs have gained a loyal following across the globe.
There are so many pieces I want from the A/W collection! The boyish blazers, the peter pan collared jumpers and blouses. The collection is chic and sleek, and distinguished by accents crossed with Rockabilly and preppy. I remember a few years ago when having a drink in the Dice Bar, which runs a Rockabilly themed night, being completely mortified when I had to admit to somebody that I hadn't heard of the term Rockabilly, thankfully now, that is no longer the case!
